For me, it's the cold weather. Cold weather = scarves and hats. What color is the scarf you're making? My stuff is white, because I don't have a white scarf.

Mine have always come out just fine. I just do it on gentle cycle, and that seems to work well. I've never had anything dry cleaned. There's a little place just a block or two from my house though, so at least if I ever need it done I won't have to go far!
