Well, gift-giving is not my love language, as I have said before. I enjoy getting gifts for my family sometimes, if I have a good idea and I just know the recipient is going to love it. But I also think Christmas has become way too guilt-based. So I just don't bother giving friend gifts most of the time. Occasionally I feel bad about it, but mostly not. We can't afford an orgy of gift-giving anyway. The one person for whom I usually get a gift is ebienic -- although this year her baby girl is due in the next few days so I might just get her a really nice baby present instead.
