Quick thoughts...

+ Happy birthday to Isaac! He is now only 12 years away from 40. Hehe. And he is the best husband ever!

+ I feel like I live at Home Depot and Walmart. I've been to each of them at least 4 times this week.

+ I'm trying to laugh at the fact that the first night this week that I finally got enough sleep preceded the one day I really could've used an extra few hours of awake time.

+ Ghirardelli chocolate chips being the same price as Walmart brand makes me very happy.

+ Apparently I've been lusting after cashmere sweaters all these years, when I could've just bought them; there are tons of them for great prices on Ebay! Oh, this is a bad, bad discovery for my budget.

+ 30% cash back on Ebay Buy It Now purchases is love.

+ Can any of you convince me that the quality of photos taken by a DSLR is worth it despite its heft when compared to a good digicam that has all manual options but an attached lens? I love the quality of DSLRs, but I also like having a camera that fits in my purse and doesn't weigh 3 lbs because of the lenses. So, yeah - convince me.

+ Hanging pictures is a lot easier than I thought it was. Therefore, I hate myself for waiting 3 years to do so.

+ I have an unhealthy obsession with soft blankets. And Cherry Coke.

+ 18 people have RSVPed for the party tonight. That is workable, assuming they don't all stay for the debate and want to sit in the living room. (Our dining room is basically just an extension of our living room though, so it'll be fine.)

+ I don't actually believe that it's October. Everyone is lying to me.

I'm struggling enough with how close 30 is. Don't even think about reminding me how close 40 is!

Yay for enough sleep! Sorry you didn't get everything done, though.

I kind of wondered a few times why you didn't look for cashmere on eBay. Yay for finding lots of good deals (boo for the budget)!

I know nothing about DSLR, so I can't convince you. ;)

We may not have a lot of other decorating things, but I love having my pictures! Did you ever find the white frames you wanted?

Today is definitely October. I have all the windows closed and I'm tempted to get a sweater.

That's because you're OLD! Hehe. Just kidding. I'm halfway to 50, so who am I to talk? ;o)

I got most things done, so it worked out okay. And I got enough sleep again last night, so hopefully the madness is over.

We don't actually have a budget. We used to, but we didn't really need it. We already save money in a lot of ways most people don't. I just say it hurts my budget as an alternative to it hurting my wallet. =o) I have already bought one cashmere sweater still with the tags on for $8 shipped, and I'm looking to take advantage of that 30% cash back and get a really cute cardigan for about $12. Ah, Ebay makes me happy.

Hehe. At least you're honest! =o)

I realized one down side to my wall of photos: now I don't have a good bare wall to take pictures of myself! Hmm. I'll have to finally paint the guest room and move my photography to that one. =o)

I don't mean it's not October because of the weather, I mean it's not October because there is no possible way this year is 75% over. =oÞ

Age is relative, anyway. I may be 28, but most days I don't feel any older than 22 (and some days I feel even younger). Kids age you, though--just thought I'd warn you. They keep you young, but they age you too. Especially when you look at one and say, "I had you four years ago? Four YEARS ago?"

Yay! I hope the crazy sleepless nights are over for you.

My paypal account is slowly growing from some surveys I take. When it gets to about $30 or so, I'm going to have fun. :)

What color do you think you'll use?

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. For me it's pretty scary because OMGOSH, I'm having this baby NEXT month!! *slight freak out* Where did the time go?

I know how you feel. I still feel so much like I did when I was 16 or 17. It's so hard to believe that I'm MARRIED and own a HOUSE and will be having KIDS soon. *shakes head*

Me too!

Are those PineCone surveys? I'm not thrilled that they lowered the payment to $3, but getting paid via PayPal sure is nice.

A sort of bluish purple... cornflower, I think, was the Crayola crayon name for the color I have in my head. Or perhaps a light version of cobalt. Something that could be either boy or girl, I think.

Holy cow, you're right! I didn't even realize, because in my head it's about June. Heh.

Some are from PineCone, but there's another group who pays via paypal, too (can't remember who), and I suppose I could always get some paypal gift cards from other survey companies. I just need to remember.

Ooh, sounds pretty!

I don't feel like it should be June, but that's probably cuz it's been cooler. Plus, the leaves are changing. But yeah.
